Professional services included analysis of quarry proposals and environment to support a citizen-based advocacy group’s opposition to the proposed Lowndes aggregate operation on 11th Concession East Flamborough, City of Hamilton. Additional support work included the collection and review of public and private agency reports and scoping of ratepayer issues for the proposed greenfield dolomite quarry.

Hunter and Associates provided professional services to a community group opposed to a proposed gravel pit in Shelter Valley, Ontario. Expert Witness support included Scoping of Issues, review of OMB Witness Statements, preparation of expert evidence, proposed modifications to Site Plans to reduce impacts and participation in proponent/agency issue resolution meetings prior to and during Ontario Municipal Board Hearing.

Hunter and Associates was retained by the Dalton Wildlands Defence League, a community group opposed to the proposed Sebright (Giofam Investments Inc) Granite Quarry in the City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. Work included review of the proponent's various technical documents and the preparation of a peer review report outlining conclusions and recommendations.
