Sunshine Estates Draft Plan Application
Caledon, Ontario

Hunter work involved preparation of full environmental packages with achievement of conformity with the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan as required by the Town of Caledon Official Plan and submission of Draft Plan Applications for a 58 Lot Estate Residential Development within the Oak Ridges Moraine. This work included the production of a series of 1:1,000 scale environmental maps and a comprehensive environmental report. Work also involved preparation for, and presentation at, public information meetings, participation throughout the subdivision planning process, environmental monitoring, inspections and preliminary engineering design including building envelopes, streets and storm water. Communications were undertaken as required with the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of the Environment, the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Region of Peel, and the Town of Caledon. The Draft Plan was approved in January 2006 - the first plan approved in the Palgrave Estates Area in the previous ten year period.

Bridlewood Estates Draft Plan Application
Campbellville, Ontario

Hunter, together with RBA Planning, obtained approval from Region of Halton for a 31 lot subdivision in the Village of Campbelleville. Hunter undertook and supervised the necessary environmental, hydrogeology and stormwater studies, site plan and preliminary engineering design required to obtain approvals based on private services. Town of Milton granted Draft Plan Approval in October 2002.

Hunter continued with other engineering consultants to assist Carson Reid Homes Limited with removal of Draft Plan site design and development conditions. Hunter's work included testing of on-site individual water wells in accordance with Ministry of the Environment drinking water quality and quantity requirements and Region of Health development standards as required for Plan Registration.
